There is something to be said about lace, specially during warmer days. The design can be delicate, feminine and extremely sensual depending on the styling. I prefer flower patters, as it echoes a flirty mood, regardless of the color tones. Choosing the fabric can be difficult, as if not done properly, the garment can rip, so its often best to pay a bit more to get a piece you can wear on the long-term.

Maia Bergman is the hottest Central Saint Martins graduate from Fashion Print pathway, who has successfully presented her final collection, which shimmered with beautiful whites, real flesh and pastel colours. Maia used plain and see through fabrics, and turned them into precious textiles by spilling the shiny cheerful beads all over. (image: 1granary)

Couldn’t help myself when I saw this installation at the Galapagos Art Space. I can see the piece taking a dark twist in one of McQueen’s dramatic collections.
The summer is rolling over faster than I thought. Of course, NYC weather is volatile and the temperature raises and falls unexpectedly. That said, this generates complications in terms of skincare and hair treatment in hotter days. I can already feel my hair drying out, my skin becoming greasier and my lips drying out from dehydration. So, what can we do to balance our bodies and look our bast during the spring and summer days? Here are some products that will easily fix our daily challenges, as our bodies start to adjust to climate changes!
1. Fresh Brown Sugar Body Polish - One of my favorites! This product will remove all the dirt in our bodies, while moisturizing and revitalizing the clean layer of skin.

2. Clarisonic - I’ve been using this product for 3 months now and I love it! No more zits and my skin is not irritated. Hotter days are known to accumulate more dirt, but this device will remove all the grind and leave your skin silky smooth.

3. Fresh Sugar Petal Lip Balm - Soft yet extremely hydrating, with a hint of color. Your lips will never feel softer (NOT oily!).

4. Ojon Damage Reverse Restorative Shampoo and Conditioner - After refusing to try this product for months, I gave a few weeks ago. My hair was drying out and I refused to get it cut. I resorted to this product, which is made to revitalize and repair damaged hair. Note that my hair was NOT damaged, but just dry and brittle. My hair has made a 360 turn, and it now feels silky and soft, just like it should!
